What Is It?
Kids love to create. Making things, drawing pictures, writing books, its all fun and exciting to them. In our travels around the country, we have found many children take their creations very seriously, and want to share their ideas with the world. Their desire, along with the growing importance of creating content in a digital world, led The Get It Factory to start a children’s only imprint.
Under The Get It Factory umbrella, the Young Writers’ Lab is a one-stop shop for child authors to make their creative dreams a reality. From writing classes, to personal coaching, to full publishing services, there’s a services for every artist. We work with kids who are interested in writing a book, have already written a book, or are interested in illustration or photography.
Packages start as low as $95 and are all a ton of fun!
Services
Creative Process
TGIF offers group (minimum 4) or one-on-one creative writing/illustration classes.
Members work toward completion of a novel, children’s book, or graphic novel.
Classes are offered online or at The Get It Factory Studio.
Publishing
If your story is already finished, TGIF offers a number of packages for publishing your story for you to actually sell! From proofreading and editing, to layout, design, publishing and much more, we will help make sure your book is ready to go!
(The Get It Factory will only publish books we deem appropriate for the Young Writers’ Lab imprint.)
Book Business Education
Learn about design, marketing, promotion, networking, and other aspects of the book industry.
TGIF will help young authors become entrepreneurs as they learn how to make their book into a business. From metadata, to commercials, to social media and basic web design, there is something for all levels of author interest.
Packages start for as little as $95 to begin the process of becoming a published author!
